I’m not presently in tech, can I can join the challenge?

Shehacks is open to ladies at different skill levels. Whether you are non savvy, non techy starter, you will feel at home among the community of mentors who will guide you through the elementary course in coding and ethical hacking

Is there a cost to taking the Challenge?

Taking the shehacks hacking and coding challenges is cost at absolute zero. As you move higher in the challenge, you may be required to take high level courses. While these courses are cost at subsidized rates, they are optional- no obligations attached.

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an event, usually hosted by a tech community. During the event “hackers” with both technical and non-technical backgrounds come together to learn and collaborate in a fun way, at the end of the event, participants are drawn in a team and get the chance to take up a challenge and win prices
